State Senator Don Gaetz and State Representatives Alex Andrade and Michelle Salzman will convene for their annual public forum on Thursday, November 12. The session is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Beach Church, 920 Panferio Drive on Pensacola Beach. The meeting serves as a final opportunity for locals to brief the delegation before the 2027 Florida Legislative Session begins.
The delegation uses the annual gathering to collect feedback from residents, business owners, and local government officials. Participants can use the time to voice concerns and present specific issues that affect the county. The forum allows state lawmakers to identify legislative priorities directly from community members rather than relying solely on office staff or lobbyists.
Citizens who wish to speak during the one-and-a-half-hour window must secure a slot in advance. The deadline to submit a completed Speaker Request Form is Wednesday, November 4. Applicants should send their forms to Lea Funchess at the designated email address. Those who miss the deadline will not be scheduled to speak during the formal portion of the meeting.
The delegation’s office in Tallahassee is handling logistics for the event. Senator Gaetz’s district office can provide speaker forms or answer questions about the schedule. The office can be reached at (850) 595-1036 or via email. This year’s venue marks a change from the Molino Community Center, which hosted the delegation’s meeting last year.
