Week 9 high school football predictions are out from three local experts, and they agree on 14 of 15 games.

Aaron Coe, Herald sports editor, holds a 122-23 season record after going 13-4 last week. Tom Lafferty of KRKO Radio stands at 117-28, with a 12-5 mark in Week 8. Steve Willits, co-host of Prep Sports Weekly, posts a 114-31 season record following a 14-3 week.

Coe and Lafferty pick Archbishop Murphy over Lynden. Willits goes the other way, taking Lynden over Archbishop Murphy. The other 14 games draw the same winner from all three: Snohomish over Shorecrest, Sultan over Lakewood, Lake Stevens over Kamiak, Arlington over Jackson, Glacier Peak over Mariner, Mountlake Terrace over Monroe, Stanwood over Cascade, Sedro-Woolley over Edmonds-Woodway, Meadowdale over Marysville Getchell, Nooksack Valley at Marysville-Pilchuck, King's over Granite Falls, Tulalip Heritage over Neah Bay, and Darrington over Crescent. Everett at Shorewood appears on all three lists.

Coe and Willits list Shorewood over Everett, while Lafferty writes Everett at Shorewood for that matchup.

The Nooksack Valley at Marysville-Pilchuck game appears as a scheduled matchup on all three lists. The predictions were published Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026.
