Heidi Klum returns to Halloween party as severed hand
The supermodel marks the 25th anniversary of her annual event with a new elaborate costume.

Heidi Klum appeared in a realistic severed human hand at her annual Halloween celebration.
The event marked the 25th year of the party. Klum has built a reputation for elaborate costumes over the last two decades. Past looks have included E.T., Fiona from Shrek, and Jessica Rabbit.
Last year, Klum dressed as Medusa. The outfit featured a headpiece with snakes and a trailing tail. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, dressed as a Greek soldier turned to stone. Klum told Variety that a team of 15 artists created that specific costume.
The supermodel described the event as a form of art. She noted that the costumes are only good for the night. She said everything goes down the drain in the shower after the party ends.
Klum hosted the 22nd season of Project Runway earlier this year. She served as a judge alongside Nina Garcia and Law Roach. She returned to the Bravo series last year after leaving in 2018. She had hosted the show for 16 seasons since its 2004 debut.
In 2020, Klum created Making the Cut for Prime Video with Tim Gunn. That series ran for three seasons. The new Halloween look continues her tradition of wearing character-based outfits for the yearly gathering.
